A lovely place where we halted for a night, right by the beach, with the windows offering a panoramic view of the wide surf, sand, and sun. It has a true tropical vibe. The room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The service was pleasant, friendly, and warm from check in to check out. We truly loved it. The spa was also a highlight, reasonably priced and very well done. Good times indeed. The restaurant on the fifth floor, with its open balcony, serves very good food and offers a gorgeous view to enjoy sipping your favorite coffee or tea. Just a short rickshaw ride from the Cliff, the lively heart of Varkala, yet walkable along the beach if one wishes. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.

Our experience was not as expected. We had specifically requested a special dining setup to make our day memorable, but unfortunately, we ended up arranging most of the decorations ourselves. The rooms also felt quite old and in need of renovation. While the food was good, the overall service lacked attentiveness. The reception staff were not very supportive, and it often took a long time to get assistance. The dining staff, however, were courteous and provided much better service. Overall, the stay had a few positives, but considering the expectations and service standards, there is definitely room for improvement.

We as malaysians had first time visits beach in Kerala, it was amazing to have beach side hotel. Views was great from the hotel. My room was spacious 207,but it was garbage smell at corridor, too much flies inside the room, heater and hair dryer not functioning, the phone not functioning. Need to get down and complain about those problems. Need to improvise alots. It will great if all this had been improvised.

Good option bang on Papnasam beach in varkala with sea view. The infrastructure is showing its age and a renovation is due. Inhouse restaurant is a plus and breakfast spread is good for the price. Swimming pool maintenance could be better. Overall Service experience is good.

I had an extremely disappointing and unpleasant experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff lacked basic professionalism and respect towards guests. Their attitude was careless, unwelcoming, and at times outright rude, which made our stay very uncomfortable. What makes this even worse is that the hotel charges prices comparable to a star-category property. However, the actual condition of the rooms and the quality of services provided are nowhere close to that standard. The rooms were poorly maintained, and the overall service felt more like that of a basic lodge rather than a premium hotel. There is a huge gap between what is promised and what is delivered. The most disturbing part of our stay was the incident at the swimming pool. The person in charge there behaved in a highly unprofessional manner and used inappropriate, offensive, and filthy language towards my family. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a place that claims to offer quality hospitality. It not only ruined our experience but also made us feel disrespected and unsafe. Overall, this stay was not worth the money or the trouble. I strongly advise others to reconsider before booking this hotel, as the service, staff behavior, and overall experience do not justify the cost at all.
