We attempted to contact the property management to discuss the concerns but were unable to obtain a response at that time. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home stay, and it was truly a wonderful experience! The hosts were warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. The home stay was beautifully decorated, reflecting the hosts' personal touch and style. The amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also ideal, with plenty of local attractions, restaurants, and shops within easy reach. What really made my stay special, though, was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, sharing their local knowledge and recommendations, and even cooking up delicious meals. I appreciated the attention to detail and the personalized service. The hosts were always available to answer questions and provide assistance, making me feel supported throughout my stay. I had a very bad experience at Jatayu Home Stay and would not recommend it to anyone. Despite having their own parking space, the staff didnt even bother to open the gate for our car. The service was extremely poor and unprofessional throughout our short stay. The room conditions were worse than expected. The bathroom didnt have proper locks, there were no soaps, no dental kits, or even basic hygiene supplies. Even towels or decent bedsheets werent provided. For all this, they charged 1500 for just a 6-hour stay completely unreasonable for the facilities (or lack of them) offered. When I requested an extra bed, the elderly man (probably the owner) rudely said it would cost 500 more. Thats way too much for a thin mattress on the floor. One of the rooms didnt even have a proper wall or door it was just covered with a curtain! And shockingly, they charged 1000 for that room. There was absolutely no privacy. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Poor service, zero hospitality, and overpriced for the quality. Please dont fall into the trap of staying here. Look for better, more honest options nearby.
