I had an absolutely wonderful stay at kananam retreat. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and offered a beautiful view of the hills and green waves. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job.

Kaananam is a quite and serene place to relax. The location is fantastic. You almost get a180 degree panorama view of the hills. The Manager Mr.Jacob and his crew are very hospitable. The food is homely and affordable. You can have a homestay away from home. I recommend this place to all except those who are used to only five star facility. Madhisoodanan.

Loved the stay at Kananam. Manager Mr Jacob was pleasantly polite with a customer service orientation. Very calm and serene ambience even in a busy weekend. Could have more options for food /menu, but it is not a major setback -- there is food and the service is good.

Wonderful experience. Wortgy for the money. We had a group visit including kids on 26th December 2025. Food and service was great. Ambience was outstanding. Manager Mr. Jacob was very friendly and a gentleman. We enjoyed the stay with campfire, special Christmas games, and a white forest cake for the whole group of 30 members. We had a wonderful time at KANANAM
