Last day, I visited Mountain Hut Resort in Vattavada. The location was awesome. The room facilities were also good. The separate dining area was nice. Dinner and morning breakfast were simple and tasty. The staff was also friendly. Located near Vattavada main town, it's helpful for exploring the morning vibes at the Vattavada entry point. They also provided trekking facilities. Worth the price.

I could easily say this was one of the most pathetic stays we have ever experienced staying at Mountain Hut Resort, Vattavada. They claim this place is a resort, but honestly it neither looked nor felt like one it felt more like a poorly maintained old lodge. Yes, the property is located on a hilltop and guests have to reach there by jeep. Since they informed us about that beforehand, we were completely okay with it. But the moment we entered the rooms, everything became disappointing. The rooms and washrooms were extremely poorly maintained. The blankets and bedsheets smelled horrible. Even after we pointed it out immediately, they said the smell was due to dampness and moisture, but it genuinely felt like the blankets and bedsheets had not been washed properly for days. It was uncomfortable and unpleasant to even sleep there. The food was equally pathetic. They mentioned that the food was brought from outside, yet the quality was terrible and not worth the money at all. On top of that, dinner and breakfast were delayed by almost an hour, which completely ruined our plans to visit nearby places on time. When people come on a trip, timing matters, and this level of irresponsibility was extremely frustrating. The welcome and overall management were honestly shocking for a place that calls itself a resort. After such a tiring journey, seeing someone walk towards us carrying a register instead of even having a basic reception setup was unbelievable. The entire place looked unorganized and poorly managed. I could see only two staff members running around doing everything. I dont fully blame them because they clearly seemed overworked and overloaded, but the management is doing a terrible job handling this property. Overall, for the amount of money spent, what you get is a badly maintained old lodge setup with poor service, poor cleanliness, and zero professionalism nowhere close to what can be called a resort. The pictures and claims are completely misleading. The only good thing was the hilltop view, but that is simply because Vattavada itself is beautiful not because of anything special this property offers. Never ever again. Completely disappointing and not worth the money.

I would not recommend Mountain Hut, especially for families seeking a peaceful stay. Dont rely only on the photos. Most guests were bachelors playing loud music all night, making it impossible to relax even inside the room. Room service was very poor. When I ordered coffee, they gave me sugar and coffee powder to prepare it myself, along with a dirty, unwashed electric kettle. Food was also delivered very late, and the fried rice and chilli chicken we ordered were so bad that we had to discard them. Overall, it feels more like a lodge than a resort. We 20 group of cyclist stayed here Clean and well-maintained rooms, and delicious homely food. Wonderful views, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended resort in Vattavada Munnar Pedal Force Kochi

We had a wonderful stay at Mount Hut Resorts! The location is absolutely stunning surrounded by mountains and greenery, its a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with beautiful views from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the local dishes. (Specialy Lapin bro)
