This was my first stay with Zostel, and it set a very positive benchmark. The property offers a well-balanced combination of a peaceful natural setting and a professionally managed stay. Surrounded by greenery, the environment is calm and refreshing, especially during the mornings. The rooms, common areas, and overall premises were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organised. The accommodation standard is closer to a good hotel while still retaining a relaxed and community-oriented atmosphere. A notable aspect was the management and hospitality. The hosts were approachable and courteous, and the operations appeared to be handled efficiently. Basic facilities were consistently maintained, and support was readily available when required. The property includes essential amenities such as an in-house dining option, 24x7 drinking water, clean washrooms, and well-designed common spaces for recreation and interaction. At the same time, it allows for sufficient privacy for those who prefer a quieter stay. It caters effectively to a wide range of travellers, including solo visitors, backpackers, and couples, with options ranging from dormitories to private rooms and unique stay formats. Overall, a well-managed and reliable property that delivers both comfort and a good overall experience. Recommended for those looking for a clean, organised, and peaceful stay with the option of a social environment.

Staying at Zostel Munnar was an absolute highlight of my tripnestled right amidst lush greenery with breathtaking, misty valley views that make waking up here magical. Alex was a fantastic host whose hospitality made all the difference, especially the stargazing session he organized, which was completely unforgettable. The common area has a great social vibe with bonfires and delicious food from the cafe, while the rooms are cozy and clean. The approach road is a bit steep, but the incredible views and top-notch hospitality make it 100% worth it!

Great hostel with an amazing, laid-back vibe. From the moment we arrived, we felt super welcome. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about his guests. he even took us on a personal tour through the nearby spice plantations. Its the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, meet great people, and just enjoy the atmosphere. We really had a great time here.

My favorite Zostel Ive ever stayed at. I initially came for just one night, but ended up staying five days because of the warm welcome from everyone there. A special mention to the owner, Ashish Chetta. Every day he would ask how my day was, suggest places to visit, and always check if there was anything I needed. He was so involved with everyone that you could easily forget he was the owner he felt more like a big brother to all of us. He is extremely humble, caring, and his whole family is just as warm and welcoming. The manager, Tezz, was also amazing a really great guy to hang out with. If you stay there, I highly recommend going on the trek with Tezz and attending the bonfire in the evening. Those were some of the best moments of my stay. I truly loved spending time at this place and the people I met there. Ill definitely be coming back soon, hopefully with all the friends I made during my stay.
