I had one of the most wonderful stays at this resort with my grandparents, who are 90 years old, and I truly appreciate how well they were taken care of. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and considerate, and they made sure my grandparents were comfortable throughout our stay. There was absolutely no inconvenience or discomfort, which made the experience even more special for us. The resort itself is a beautiful and peaceful escape into the jungle and the serenity of Munnar. It is the perfect place for a quick getaway, surrounded by nature and calmness. The staff went above and beyond, and the jungle safari they arranged for us was one of the best experiences we had during our trip. The rates are very reasonable for the quality of service and experience provided. The food was another highlight of our stay the two chefs did an incredible job, and we honestly had some of the best meals weve had in the city. Everything was delicious, and we never felt like we were missing anything. A special mention also goes to how thoughtfully they treated our driver by providing a complimentary place to stay, which was a wonderful gesture and shows the level of care they have for their guests and their companions. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful jungle retreat with great hospitality, excellent food, and a memorable stay. Truly a 10/10 experience!

I really wanted to like this place but it fell short in many ways. The location is very far from the rest of munnar which means you spend a lot of time just in the car. The two bedroom villa listed on booking.com is more of a 2 bedroom suite connected by a room in the middle with 2 single beds. The entrance to the villa is up several steps. The whole resort trail is ridiculously steep, impossible for older people or small children to manage and not fun to walk for anyone. One bathroom had a bad drainage odour throughout our stay, some lights were not working in the other bathroom making it very dark as a result, the bathroom walls were perpetually wet and a number of tiny frogs and centipedes were scattered across the stone walls. The toilet seat was badly scuffed in one bathroom, which made it seem more like a lodge than a star resort. Where this place shines is in the service - quick and efficient - polite and decent folk here. Cleanliness is top, beds and linen are pristine and comfortable. Food is also excellent - chef deserves applause. The menu is very limited though and the restaurant mentioned is not really a full restaurant - you have to preorder every meal which limits your plans considerably. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. Checkin and checkout was efficient as well.

I stayed in a basic room with a pool view at The Wild Trails Resort during a quick trip to Munnar. The resort is beautiful. The room felt surprisingly luxurious, spacious, and well thought out, with highquality fittings and beautiful views of the pool, greenery, and forest. It was a peaceful solo escape, and the courteous staff plus the owners clear dedication to the guest experience made it special. I had such a wonderful time that Id love to come back with my family Id rate it 10/10.

A hidden gem in Munnar surrounded by nature and greenery. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful tea estate views, clean and spacious rooms, and warm hospitality made the stay memorable. The food was tasty and the staff were very courteous and helpful throughout. Perfect place for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax away from the busy town. Highly recommended for a calm and refreshing stay in Munnar! One small note: it is slightly away from central Munnar, so ideal if you prefer serenity over city access. Some reviewers mention the travel time to town and hill roads, but most felt the peaceful setting made it worth it.
