The homestay was wellmaintained, neat, and clean. Its located within walking distance of Varkala Beach, though the road back from the beach has a slight incline. The property itself is quiet and very pleasant, making it a comfortable stay overall.

Another wonderful stay at Varkala Villa, we will return again and again, and always recommend it to our friends visiting Varkala. The location is perfect, quiet and 2 minutes walk to the beach. Binu is very thoughtful and welcoming and will help you with anything you need. Rooms are spotless and Sheeba and Nandhini are always around to give a friendly smile. They made us breakfast everyday, helped to care for our baby while we ate, made ginger tea for my mother when she was unwell. We felt at home. As well as this the rooms are a very reasonable rate especially given that other nearby properties are charging much more for lower quality rooms. Highly recommend.

Looking for budget hotels? ....look no further. It's is a homestay with each room rented out seperately. Cleanliness and services provided deserve praise. Clean rooms , clean bathrooms... Surrounded by greenery..away from the hustle bustle of the beach and shops quietly tucked in the bylanes but still walkable to the beach in 5 mins. Payment is taken at the time of check-in itself. Breakfast provided on demand consisting of kerala style tiffins.

Our experience at Varkala Villa was disappointing. We were repeatedly pressured to shift to another property despite having a confirmed booking, asked to pay in advance even though it was clearly mentioned as pay at hotel, and on the day of check-in after paying in advance we were again told to move as someone else was supposedly staying there. Although the room was clean and the stay was comfortable, basic amenities like hand towels were missing, there was no provision for the cab driver, the place was not worth the price and it is not a beachside property. The lack of warmth and a welcoming attitude was surprising compared to the hospitality we experienced elsewhere in Kerala; we hope they take this feedback positively and improve their services in the future.

The best stay in Varkala. Though you don't have a beach view from the villa but genuinely it's cozy and have a peaceful ambience. I am gonna stay here everytime I come to Varkala. You will definitely love it. You literally don't have to worry about anything here. Varkala railway station, varkala bus stand are available within 3km. Easy access to beach and food. You can also get a scooty here itself in 600/- per day. No distance limitation, no time limitations. You just need to fuel it on your own and go anywhere you want.
