Very unprofessional experience. We spoke to the hotel over call and confirmed the booking only after seeing a video of the rooms. During the call, we were specifically told that Room No. 7 would be given to us, and that room had a very good outside mountain view. But after reaching the hotel, they suddenly said Room No. 7 had already been given to someone else and offered us Room No. 6 instead. When we checked, Room No. 6 was in the basement and completely opposite to what was shown/confirmed earlier, with no proper outside visibility or mountain view. This kind of last-minute room change after confirmation is not professional at all. We became doubtful when the caretaker casually mentioned the change, so we asked to see the room first. Only then we realized the difference. Luckily, we had not paid any advance, so we avoided staying there. Hotels should be transparent with guests and should not confirm one room over call and provide a completely different room after arrival. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend booking without checking everything in person first.

Had a really good stay at VVV Grand, Valparai. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, which made the stay relaxed and hassle-free. One of the biggest advantages is the availability of car parking, which is very convenient if you're traveling by your own vehicle. The highlight for me was definitely the balcony view you get a pleasant scenic outlook, perfect for enjoying Valparais calm atmosphere. The location is also decent and easily accessible from the town area. Overall, its a solid choice for a budget-friendly stay with good space and essential facilities. Would recommend it for travelers looking for a comfortable and simple stay in Valparai

We booked room 101 from MMT and paid 3500 per day which was not worth at all. Problems we faced during our stay: 1. Checkin was late. We called multiple times before reaching and when we arrived at 12pm receptionist asked us to wait outside while maid started cleaning the room after our arrival. 2. Very unhygenic and disrespectful workers. All the workers including the maid were wearing outside shoes inside the room. 3. Toilet seat was broken which they could not fix. 4. We checked in after a long journey and wanted to take immediate shower but shower tap was not working which they fixed somehow 3,4hrs later. By that time we already had taken bath. 5. Frequent power cuts. They didnt even provide a single small bulb with power backup inside the room. We had to bring candles. This is the level of service we got after paying 3500/- per day. Even 2k /- per day room hotels provide far better service than this unprofessional bunch of guys. The only good thing was the room size, room was quite spacious. My suggestion to owner: please provide service in accordance with the money you charge. Basic necessities and professionalism is missing in your accomodation.

Ours was a mixed experience. So I post here the pros and cons. You decide on your own. Pros: Newly built Car Parking Clean and tidy rooms Affordable (starting at 1300) 24hrs hot water TV with working remotes Remote Fans Original Aquaguard Water purifer WiFi Cons: The drunk co-guests Despite being said NO ALCOHOL Consumption, the place do allowed the people to drink and consume alcohol with loudspeakers and we cant sleep a bit until its 5:30AM. Even when reaching out to the attender at reception, no use. He said he pleaded them but they didnt listen. Im damn sure the attendant too would have got bribe of a cigarette or two and saying like this to us. A perfect lodging experience was spoiled entirely and UNFIT FOR FAMILY STAY.

The stays has only one scenic view room at ground level. All other rooms at basement which looks like totally unsafe. The owner shows that view room and get booked ,then allocating basement room which is unprofessional. Family, female travellers and solo travelers don't stay here. For female travellers it's totally a disastrous one.
