We recently spent 3 nights in this resort. We are club Mahindra members. Based on reviews and photos online, we made the booking and hoped for a good experience. I would overall give a rating of 2/5. Positives: 1) staff are very courteous and helpful 2) location is great, lush greenery all around, huge property and sounds of birds and nature fill your ears at all times 3) food quality and taste - good Negatives (there are many): 1) its a worn down place; the rooms are musty smelling, no balcony, no safety locker, toilet didnt have an exhaust and the bedding looked very old. Old time TV, most regional channels and very few English or Hindi channels. No kids channels. 2) being a resort in Wayanad , the room had Bru instant coffee! I expected better! Black coffee all three days was a huge disappointment at the buffet. 3) being a property with lush nature all around, they still provide shampoo and body wash in small disposable plastic bottles. Also juice cups and some cutlery are disposable paper and wood material. 4) wherever we asked for something in the menu, they didnt have it. And room service took 1 hour and ala carte order took 45 minutes. They said its because they make everything fresh. This was very difficult as we were travelling with a toddler 5) Spa was disappointing to say the least. It was a make shift area. No AC/window. Stuffy. No consent forms. No enquiry of medical conditions. No steam facility available. No post spa hot drink. There bathroom had hair in most areas. The masseuse was good though. 6) most areas of the resort are closed, looks worn down or is being renovated. Overall, 2/5 stars. Not worth the drive and the effort.

We stayed at the resort from 20th May to 23rd May. Its a large property with many room categories, and we chose the pool villa. The villa was very good spacious, furnished in an oldstyle charm (not antique, but classic), and the private pool was clean with proper water circulation. The privacy was excellent, which made the stay even more relaxing. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout. We had checked in to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and they made the moment special by delivering a cake and a card exactly at midnight, along with a flower bouquet that I had arranged for the celebration. A thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. I would have happily given a full 5star rating, but the chaotic restaurant experience, delays in inroom dining, and wrong orders prevent me from doing so. The F&B Manager personally met us, apologized for the inconvenience, and patiently listened to our suggestions. I genuinely hope the service improves, because the resort has great potential. Overall, a very good stay and highly recommended.

Stayed at this resort for a couple of days. The google map is accurate. They have ample parking available within the premises. Lot of greenery in the resort and the whole resort is well maintained as well. The whole place is like a huge rectangle, you walk the lengthy side of the place. Not much width available for it to look spacious. Neat and well maintained property. Rooms & washrooms were clean as well. You have vans running up and down the length of the resort. So, basically you dont have to walk. You can wait for a van or call them to arrange a van for you. Artificial waterfall and the bridge are the highlights. Food was good too. The staff at the restaurant were managed by women, which was a good. And they did a pretty good job as well. Very courteous staff everywhere. Kudos to the staff. They had live music as well. The singers had amazing talent. There was an indoor game room with table tennis, carroms, chess and a small trampoline for kids. Outdoor activities, too, were enough to spend quality time at the property. Special mention - Day of my checkout, as I was having my breakfast, I requested the staff if they can provide some Khichdi (for my 3 year old) for the road. They said it was breakfast time and rice items are part of lunch/dinner. But, they said they would check with the chef and get back. Guess what...they did pack some khichdi for the kid. They did not let me pay as well saying "it is for the kid, so, it is ok sir". Kudos to the chef and the staff again.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering complete privacy. The resort is well maintained, and every corner reflects care and attention to detail. The staff deserves a special mention , courteous, warm, and always willing to help, which truly enhances the overall experience. The food was enjoyable with a good variety in buffet, and the peaceful atmosphere of the resort makes every meal feel relaxed and unhurried. Whether its a walk through the property or simply enjoying the surroundings, the resort offers a sense of quiet luxury without being overwhelming. Overall, Vythiri Village Resort is an excellent choice for couples, families, or anyone looking to disconnect from routine and reconnect with nature. A memorable stay, and definitely a place we would love to visit again.
