One of the worst stays we've ever experienced. We couldn't even get a proper night's sleep because the place was so uncomfortable and poorly maintained. The property was extremely dirty and unhygienic. There was dust everywhere, mosquitoes throughout the property even in bed room and hall, dust under the carpet, and the overall cleanliness was shocking. The water had a horrible smell, almost like a dead rat, making it unpleasant to even use. The kitchen was in terrible condition. The utensils, glasses, and plates were filthy, smelled bad, and clearly hadn't been washed properly. We didn't feel safe using any of them. Even the drinking water provided was of poor quality. Basic amenities were missing as well. There were no proper blankets and not even basic toiletries like soap. The entire property looked neglected and lacked even the minimum standards of cleanliness and maintenance. The caretaker was unresponsive and showed little interest in addressing our concerns, which made the experience even more frustrating. This property needs serious attention to hygiene, cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service. We left extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone until these issues are completely resolved. TOTALLY WORST EXPERIENCE...

Wintergreen water front villa is a hidden paradise for sure mainly for families. With a lovely new clean private pool without timing restrictions its lovely. We had couple of drinks and was in the pool. Then was sitting by pool side listening to music and eating fresh grilled BBQ and then into pool again. Since its at kochi itself so convinient for us without long drives which we hate in this traffic. Staff rohit at wintergreen is very gud. He took gud care of my child. They became good friends. 2 nd night we asked staff to set BBQ In our private sit out and they did. I came with fly for one day but stayed for 2 nights. They gave us a decent discount too. Sure to come back. My child really loves the place and pool. Calm and quiet atmosphere even thou its near vyttila no sounds at all. Total Peace........

It looked like the kind of place youd save instantly on Instagram aesthetic corners, beautiful architecture, and perfect lighting that makes every frame feel curated. At first glance, its a dream for content creators. Every angle has potential, every wall tells a story, and you can easily spend hours just taking photos. But the moment you step beyond the lens, the reality hits. Despite its visual charm, the place is poorly maintained. Dust has settled over most surfaces, and waste is scattered around in corners that could have otherwise been stunning spots. The lack of basic upkeep makes it uncomfortable to actually stay or spend time there. What could have been a peaceful, inspiring location ends up feeling neglected and forgotten. Its honestly disappointing a place with so much potential reduced by careless maintenance. You come for the aesthetics, but you definitely dont feel like staying.

Very poorly maintained and not cleaned properly. The place feels old and extremely overpriced for the condition it is in. There was dust everywhere, and to make things worse, we even saw a cat with a rat inside the room area, which was extremely disturbing and unhygienic. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and definitely not worth the money. The management seriously needs to improve cleanliness and maintenance.

Excellent food and nice service. Superb romantic location. I went to wintergreen with my friends in dec 2025, went on a sat night, had a gud chill out time. Garden is well lit and swimming pool is clean and neat. Calm and serene atmosphere. The resort is 3 kms from vyttila kochi facing backwaters. They provided us candlelit dinner and a BBQ for a very minimal price. Since no restriction for pool timings i think we all where in the pool whole night. Listened to gud music, had wine, wandered around pool side and lake areas, since its a private space its very safe, we had booked the 4 bedroom private pool villa and charged us 14000 Rs with complimentary breakfast. Villa can b locked from inside to guarentee safety. A bigger team of our group is planning a night out at Wintergreen water front resorts soon for a rocking one night stay and bash up with friends and dudes.
