I had a wonderful 3-day stay here. This was my second visit to the resortmy first was 11 years ago when it was newly built. Though the property is older now, it still has the same ambience, vibes, and homely atmosphere. The staff are warm and friendly, and its close to the beach. However, I did face two major issues: 1. Dangerous dogs roam outside the resort and chase people heading toward the main road . 2. The taxi drivers outside have a monopoly and behave badly. They charge double (e.g., 1,500 for a trip that costs 699 online) and create a ruckus if you dont comply. We had to lug our luggage on our own with infant to the main road .These goon drivers created ruckus and discomfort for us They dont even allow any other taxi even on the road . We had to carry our luggage and infant till main road. The resort management really needs to address this . On the bright side, the food buffet was a highlight! Breakfast and dinner had great variety, and the taste was top-notch. Kudos to the resorts CHEFS Plus, live music added to the charm . If youve got kids or babies, youll love this place. Overall, it was a wonderful staywould definitely come back!

My experience at Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort (beachside) was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. The service was pathetic, and the resort felt completely overcrowded and poorly managed. With what seems like 100+ rooms, there is no proper parking space, and no visible effort from management to handle guest convenience. Breakfast was chaotic due to excessive rush, with no taste and no quality in the food. It felt like quantity over quality, making the experience unpleasant. I stayed in the Swedish cottage (wooden cottage), but the hospitality was not up to the mark. Even basic amenities were missing face towels were not provided even after requesting them, which is unacceptable for a resort. The bathroom safety was also a serious concern. There were no bathroom mats, making the floor extremely slippery and increasing the risk of slipping and injury. Overall, this property felt more like a 2-star hotel rather than a resort. The only positive point is that the beach is nearby. The resort urgently needs to improve staff training, service quality, food standards, and overall management. I would not recommend this place until significant improvements are made.

The hotel is located very close to Baga Beach and has a private beach entry, which is a big plus. Since we were traveling in our own vehicle, it was initially a bit difficult to locate the property. However, after calling the reception, the staff guided us very well. Tip: If you are traveling by your own vehicle, search for the Lenskart store near Baga Beach on maps. From there, take a left turn and continue straight to reach the hotel easily. We stayed in the cottage rooms, which were decent and equipped with all basic amenities. Pros: Excellent location, very close to the beach. Housekeeping staff was very prompt and responsive. Breakfast was really good with a wide variety of options, including Jain food. Tip: Try to reach the breakfast area before 9:00 AM to get seating easily. After that, it becomes crowded, though the staff does their best to arrange seating as quickly as possible. We opted for la carte dinner, and the food was good. The hotel also offers a buffet dinner option for guests who have it pre-booked, with a good variety of dishes. Cons: The hotel is located near a Hindu cremation ground. Although it is mostly covered by the hotel premises, we noticed the smell of burning at times. Outside the main gate, there are bike and car rental vendors standing throughout the day. This can be convenient for some, but families may find it slightly uncomfortable. The cottage rooms could be better maintained. The one we stayed in looked old and had a slight unpleasant smell. Cats were roaming around the cottage area, and at night they were noisy, which disturbed our sleep.

It was overpriced for the kind of room that i got, take into account that i went there in the last week of December. Complimentary breakfast was great. Location is great as you can directly go on to the beach from the hotel. I wont call it a resort though. Service was great top notch until last day, when I checked out and had left my airpods in the room. But they said it was never found. I was certain I had left it in the room but did not have time to argue as I had a flight to catch.

People are so warm & helpful. Property is extremely beautiful. Food is outstanding. Every night there's live music which is perfect for dinner time & famiky or friends groups. The crowd at this place is good too. Solo & women travellers can feel safe. Overall experience was excellent.
